One of our most popular family portrait photographer locations in the Yarra Valley is the Warburton Redwood Forest.  I love this location for the adventure it also provides for my clients!  At just a hour and half from the CBD, Warburton is an amazing day trip for families with so much to see and do! The Californian Redwood Forest was planted back in 1930 as part of an experiment by the Board of Works to study the effects that introduced tree species had on canopy interception, the East Warburton Redwood Forest is now Heritage Listed. 

I loved meeting Hannah and Tim at the Redwood Forest last month.  It was absolutely freezing so the girls were absolute troopers to let us capture these beautiful family portraits.

Note: if you are inspired to visit the Forest please note there are no facilities - toilets, bins, running tap water.  You absolutely MUST take your rubbish with you when you leave - so many times I have visited to find this beautiful fairytale spot littered with rubbish, tissues and many other things careless visitors leave behind!
