We've just completed a newborn photography session in our Melbourne studio for beautiful angel Indi. This is the second newborn baby session I've done for parents Rachel and Patrick, having done first born Kai just 14 months ago. I feel so blessed to be able to watch my clients gorgeous families grow, and be able to document these life changing moments as their children are born.
For Indi's newborn portrait session Rach gave me full choice on colours and set-ups and I love how the pink and cream images all work together to create beautiful wall art from this session. Indi went from sound asleep to wide awake and then back to sleep in a matter of 10 minutes. We were able to capture some stunning awake images with her and these were some of Rachel and Patrick's favourite portraits.
I also loved getting to play with Kai again, at 14 months he is one of the happiest little men I have ever met. He was so full of smiles and laughter and he just absolutely melted my heart. He loved "sister"! If you are wondering how we achieve sibling images with baby in a tub, please be aware these are composite images to ensure the safety of the baby. Two separate images are taken, one with Kai holding an empty tub, and a second with baby in the tub with parents hands supporting her head. In post production we merge the two images, removing the hand supporting Indi's head. We are fully trained in posing your baby safely and ensure baby is supported and spotted at all times. We also create our sibling with baby in the vintage pram in the same way.
We are taking newborn photography session bookings in our Melbourne studio forward into November 2019.
